This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
The more activity people see, the more they are lured in. In that way deviant members are not unlike fish, or other simple creatures. Initially, I think we should establish the image of Convention Buddies. Then we will strenghthen the ties it has to each member, thusly creating an 'inter-netting' with which to catch these fish.
Firstly, I think we all should create self portrait pieces that use a preferred medium and style. Along with the piece it would be good to clairify the features there-in, specifically your style [eg: manga, or photograph manip. ] and anything else you want to be crystal clear about the deviation and yourself as an artist/ member. These will explain who 'we' are, as well as provide fodder for future group deviations. [more on those later]
Let`s see if we can`t all have some I.D. up by the 20th of September.
Simultainiously, I think we should promote a professional look by updating the CB icon and image. So I think we should each take a crack at making a new icon, then vote to see which icon suits us best, and how to refine that one. In the end I hope each member will have had a part in the creation of the finished icon.
Have some ideas for the icon submitted by Saturday, September 13.
